It’s the season of shopping indeed and this is just the period of retail therapy for most of us. However, rummaging around every corner of shops and boutiques looking for that ‘this-is-it’ sort of gift is somewhat exhausting. So why not consider shopping online.
While you’re part of the many who prefer to go shopping at the mall to buy gifts and whatnot for this season, others are busying themselves browsing and clicking items online instead. It’s more convenient and there’s as much options and varieties as anyone can find on malls. One of the few online shops which I’ve personally tried is Zalora. It’s a gateway to directly buy fashion items, beauty products, et cetera et cetera, from a variety of sellers online. Perfect for last minute shoppers and those who are always in front of their computers but no time to shop. To access Zalora site, all you need is either a desktop or mobile device. Sign up if it’s your first time, or login with your account before browsing all the available services and products.
Now let’s say you’re browsing for shirts, pants, shoes and stuffs that you can’t fit and doubtful about the size indicated on a product page. That’s just one drawback though of online shopping, you can’t try fitting. It’s a good thing you can visit their digital pop-up store for such purpose. Just take note that not all the merchandise you’ll find from their online website are present in the pop-up store. Most of the products being displayed are considered Zalora’s best of the best, probably in terms of sales and popularity. In addition, all local brands from the Zalora Marketplace are not included as well from the curated products. If you really can’t hold it back, go purchase that item and abuse their Exchange & Return Service – I’m sure you get what I mean, lol.
To put a hype on Zalora’s pop-up store, it is truly a first of its kind in Metro Manila or probably in the country. Though outside it just looks like another retail outlet of some high street brand, every bit of that common impression changes when you get inside. Displayed products are tagged with no price. Customers fit clothes and shoes but none of them leave with a shopping bag. What you need to do instead is take your item at the counter, let them scan it to be added on your online cart. You gotta have an existing account before anything else – have you signed up yet, go register for an account.
Zalora have given us shoppers the option to shop on our own preference. Since it has adopted the click-and-mortar (clicks-and-bricks) business model in which a company is able to operate both online and offline. We can now enjoy retail therapy at the comfort of our home or the conventional way. And isn’t this season the perfect time to try both.
Swing by at Zalora’s digital pop-up store at the C3 Lower Ground Floor, Bonifacio High Street Central, BGC at Taguig. By the way, they also had a temporary outlet which I happened to visit in Shangrila Plaza, Mandaluyong, but already closed last year.
